About
At Peace Advocate Photography we are passionate about capturing and immortalising the special moments in our clients' lives for posterity and our goal is to create striking photographs and imagery that can be cherished for many years to come.
As the old saying goes, "a picture paints a thousand words" and our aim is to do our best to improve the current state of society, by showing the true beauty of the world and its people, through use of powerful imagery and visual storytelling.
In our free time, whilst undertaking personal projects, we seek to use a combination of visual media in the hope that we may be able to educate and encourage people to become more active in helping to create a better world.
The company was founded in October 2011 by Alexander Anyfandakis, a photographer / documentary film-maker from Luxembourg who gained the nickname "Peace Advocate" and discovered a deep-rooted love for photography while studying for a Masters degree in "Digital Documentary".
His work has been published in the Greek National Newspaper "Kathimerini"; the Danish publication "Fagebladet Socialpaedagogen" and has been displayed at the University of Sussex as well as "SEE Brighton Documentary Festival".
